Michelle is a warm and nurturing mother of three daughters and a proud grandmother to seven adorable grandchildren. As a dedicated birth and postpartum doula, Michelle empowers women to embrace their birth experiences in their own way. She also serves as a shamanic healer, using her beautiful voice to sing icaro songs, as well as the magic of the rose to cleanse and activate, bringing transformation to the women who are called and helping to restore balance and peace to those she supports.
It was in June 2023, on hearing the devastating news that my Mum had only a few weeks to live, that my journey into Shamanism began.
I was still grieving for my Dad and was struggling with the idea of going through another heartbreak. So, I reached out to Richard Down, a Maestro Shaman.
Richard visited Mum and I wearing traditional ritual clothing and singing Icaro songs from the Shipibo tribe. He set up an altar and invited in ayahuasca, the mother of all plants, asking for her guidance and wisdom to come through the songs. I was particularly moved by Richard’s chakra toning, using sacred sounds that help to create change.
I asked Richard to bring me strength and inner peace so when the inevitable would happen I would be prepared.
My mum died two days after the ceremony. Despite my grief and consuming heartbreak I felt an inner peace and a strength I had not experienced before. This inspired me to learn more about Shamanism. I really wanted to offer this amazing, incredible gift to others , so they could feel what I felt.

In June 2024 I continued on my healing journey and went to the South of France to do my Rose solo retreat with Samjhana Moon this was a magical life changing journey. T his retreat was about finding my soul’s purpose, it was a rite of passage that gave my soul’s purpose a kiss of life with potent initiations and sacred ceremonies in the most beautiful lands in South of France

Here I cast my intentions into the sacred waters and opened up my heart to become the best version of myself . The confirmation I got from these powerful five days infused me with joy and excitement. I actually felt so much lighter, I had more energy I had more vitality and I looked and felt 10 years younger. This was confirmed by the therapist who on arrival did a massage and after day five repeated it, ,she could not believe it was the same body .
